TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking cleaning services with Happy Cleaners Services (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all one-time and recurring cleaning services.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Booking a service constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in effect at the time of booking. Any updates apply prospectively and do not affect services already completed or currently scheduled.
2. SERVICES OFFERED
Happy Cleaners Services provides the following services:
Standard Cleaning
Deep Cleaning
Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
Approved add-on services requested in advance
Service types and add-ons must be selected and approved prior to service. Changes cannot be made once cleaning has begun.
3. PAYMENT POLICY
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Services are not confirmed without valid payment information.
Accepted payment methods are those presented during booking.
4. PRICE & SCHEDULE CHANGES
Pricing for recurring services is based on service frequency, time between cleanings, and the condition of the home.
Price adjustments may occur if:
A scheduled cleaning is skipped
The time between cleanings increases
The home’s condition differs materially from what was disclosed
Pets, clutter, or other factors were not disclosed at booking
Price changes will not apply retroactively and will be communicated prior to future services whenever possible.
5. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service incur no fee.
Cancellations made within 24 hours are subject to a cancellation fee.
Failure to provide access to the home results in a lockout fee.
Cancellation and lockout fees represent reasonable compensation for lost labor and scheduling costs.
6. REFUNDS & SERVICE GUARANTEE
Happy Cleaners Services is committed to providing high-quality cleaning services.
If any portion of the service does not meet your expectations, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion so we can review the concern.
We will schedule a re-clean of the affected areas, to be completed within 7 days of the original service, subject to availability.
Missed areas must be clearly identified and reasonably discoverable.
The re-clean is the primary method of resolving service-related concerns.
If, after the approved re-clean has been completed, you are still dissatisfied with the service, we will issue a full refund for the original service.
This refund policy applies only after:
Timely notification
An approved re-clean opportunity
Completion of the re-clean visit
7. ARRIVAL TIME
Your scheduled service time includes an estimated arrival window of approximately ±1 hour. Arrival times may vary due to traffic, weather, or prior job conditions. We will notify you of significant delays when possible.
8. TEAMS
Cleaning services may be performed by one or more cleaners depending on the size and scope of the job. While we strive for consistency, we do not guarantee the same cleaning team for each visit.
9. EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES
We provide standard cleaning supplies and equipment, including vacuums and cleaning products.
Requests for specific products must be made prior to service.
In certain situations, we may request that a customer provide a working vacuum for safety or hygiene reasons.
10. MOVE-IN / MOVE-OUT CLEANINGS
Homes must be empty and free of personal items prior to service.
Cabinets, drawers, and appliances must be cleared to be cleaned.
Additional charges may apply if the home is not ready at arrival.
Odor removal, including pet odors, is not guaranteed.
11. STAIN REMOVALS
We will make reasonable efforts to remove stains; however, some stains may be permanent or require specialty treatment. No guarantee is made that all stains can be removed.
12. WALL WASHING / WALL SPOT CLEANING
Customers acknowledge that walls may have pre-existing wear, damage, or sensitivity.
We are not responsible for damage caused by underlying wall conditions.
If spot cleaning is insufficient due to widespread staining, the service may require full wall washing. We will contact you to discuss options and pricing before proceeding.
13. EXTRA WORK
Special requests (including inside appliances, additional rooms, or specialty tasks) must be requested in advance.
Estimates are provided in good faith.
Pricing may be adjusted if the scope differs from what was described.
Additional work requested at the time of service may be declined if not pre-approved.
14. SCOPE OF WORK & LIMITATIONS
For safety and liability reasons, we do not:
Work above two ladder rungs
Lift items over 20 pounds
Move furniture containing electronics
Perform exterior cleaning
Perform repairs, restoration, or specialty services
Clean bodily fluids, litter boxes, or pest-infested areas
15. PETS & CLUTTER
Pets must be secured during service.
We are not responsible for pets escaping during entry or exit.
Excessive clutter may limit cleaning effectiveness or prevent cleaning in certain areas.
16. DAMAGE & CLAIMS
Customers are responsible for securing valuables.
Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
We reserve the right to repair or replace verified damage caused by our team.
17. PHOTOS & QUALITY CONTROL
Photos may be taken for internal quality control.
Marketing use requires customer consent.
Supervisors may inspect completed work.
18. TIPS
Tips are appreciated but not required. A customary gratuity is 10–15% of the service cost. Tips may be given directly to the cleaning team or added to payment when available. Cleaning staff receive 100% of tips.
19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin law:
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
This limitation does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
20. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action must be brought in a Wisconsin court of competent jurisdiction.
21. TERMINATION OF SERVICE
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service if these Terms & Conditions are violated or if service cannot be safely or reasonably performed.
22. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Happy Cleaners Services and supersede all prior agreements or communications.
